Now in its fifeenth year, the Laguna Phuket Triathlon is considered Southeast Asia’s premier triathlon event with one of the most challenging and spectacular bike and run courses on the triathlon calendar. Defending champions Liz Blatchford and Massimo Cigana are expected to compete again to defend their titles but will face strong opposition from some of the finest pro athletes in the world. The event will again feature an age group competition, the Herbalife Corporate Challenge Team Relay and a 6Km Fun Run. After the sell out success of the 2007 event entries are expected to go even faster this year.
